Mazoon Electricity Conducts Workshops on the Civil Service Pension System
Muscat, March 2012 – In collaboration with the Civil Service Employees Pension Fund, Mazoon Electricity has conducted a series of workshops on the pension system across its branches in the Governorates of South Al Batinah, Al Dhakhiliyah and Sharqiya in addition to its headquarters in Muscat. The sessions aim to educate staff on the law of pensions and end of service benefits as well as providing key information and guidance on pension entitlements, calculations and gratuity.

The workshops entail a comprehensive introduction on the pension laws adopted by the Sultanate including the length of service calculated from the pension, retiree pension entitlements and the end of service benefits and gratuity. The sessions also provide details on the roles and responsibilities of the Pension’s Service Center in facilitating the procedures when applying for pension services and providing clarification on the documents required for the services.
