EHC CEO urges the group to go paperless
On the sidelines of the Press Brief held at Crowne Plaza to announce the second edition of the Knowledge Sharing Conference (Musharakah),and while talking to the communication team of the subsidiaries, Eng. Omar Bin Khalfan Al Weheibi, emphasized the needed to gradually substitute the various printed publications for an electronic versions citing reasons related to environmental as well as resources considerations. Electroonic publications are also easily accessible through the net.
His remarks are in line with a long term strategy by the group to minimize impact on environment emanating from the group business activities. The EHC is planning to launch sustainability policy aimed at long term interaction with the local community on initiatives related to environment conservation. It is worth noting that HE Minister of Finance, while visiting the Group side exhibition following the inauguration of KSC2013, made similar remarks on the need to lessen expenses spent on printed publications. Many organizations are increasingly becoming paperless and have messages urging its staff not to resort to printing unless necessary.
